GEAR TRAIN MODEL
Consist of :
  •  Base plate with a fixed shaft, two shafts, four gears of 40,50,80 and 100 teeth, locking pin and drive pin
  •  Digital indicator to show the velocity Ratios, input torgue and output torgue and hence efficiency.
Function
  •  Apparatus for the practical and safe study of gear systems
  •  Experiments include investigation into simple and compound gear trials with full analysts of torgue
power mechanical efficiency lostes and individual & combines inertias within geared systems
Work Done by a Variable Force Apparatus
  •  Determines the work done by a vertical variable effort and compares it with the work done in lifting a load The free-standing, bench-top unit consists of a suspension cord carrying a loaded trolley at its midspan.
The cord is clamped at one end, and tensioning effort applied vertically at the other end.
  •  All pulleys feature ball bearings.
  •  An instruction manual for student and lecturer provided.
  •  Set of weights.
  •  1m ruler supplied.
  •  Dimensions and weights (excluding set of weights): 585 x 130 x 635 mm; 3.2 kg (approx).
  •  Crank and Connection Rod [1] Self contained unit mounted on an A3 white melamine board.
  •  The characteristics of the crank and correcting rod are clearly shown by its parts.
