The System comprises Electrical Machines and Power Trainer and
Dissectible Machines Trainer :
Electrical Machines and Power:
  •  This Industrial Machines Installation is based on the concept of a complete system that covers the curriculum requirements to teach Electrical Power and Machines. It based around a series of industrial machines of nominally 250-300Watts rating, which have been purpose designed to display characteristics of industrial machines. The system also covers single and three phase transformers.
  •  The system should supplied complete with the necessary power supplies, loading and testing devices as well as PC virtual instrumentation for the metering of all the system values. This virtual instrumentation software compatible with the managed learning environment as specified in item 1.
  •   The system must provides with detailed laboratory notes detailing the curriculum, which covers experimental operation and practical training on DC machines, AC single phase and three phase machines, single and three phase transformers and a machines loading system.
  •   The system supplied with a dissectible machine to allow machine winding and construction to be considered.
  •  Supply Requirements: Nominal Voltage 230/50Hz
Assignments:
  •  This system allows the most generally taught electrical machine principles to be studied. It must feature the following machine types:
Universal Motor.
DC Compound Motor.
Capacitor Start Motor.
3 Phase Induction Motor.
3 Phase Synchronous Motor.
A dissectible Machine.
Single Phase transformer.
Three Phase Transformer.
