The basic principles of operation of a four cylinder four strokes automobile engine are clearly demonstrated by this open construction model. Distributor Is connected to cam shaft and cam shaft Is connected to crank shaft by gears and the both are completely exposed. By turning a crank handle attached to one end of a crank shaft, pistons move, intake and exhaust valves open and close. 2.5 volts bulbs (above each cylinder) flashes to show proper firing order. The convenient size and ruggedly built model is mounted on a wooden base.
